The IT Manager Who Defeated the Overwhelm Monster

Once upon a time in a bustling IT company, there was a manager named Sam. Sam had a special talent: saying yes to everything.
"Sam, can you fix this bug?" "Sure!""Sam, can you lead the new project?" "Of course!""Sam, can you bake a cake for Dave’s birthday?" "Uh… okay?"
Soon, Sam’s to-do list was longer than a cybersecurity manual, and panic set in. Emails piled up. Deadlines loomed. Coffee intake reached dangerous levels.
Then, a wise (and slightly smug) colleague, Priya, slid a mysterious tool across the desk. The Eisenhower Matrix.
“What’s this?” Sam asked, staring at four magical quadrants:
1️⃣ Urgent & Important – Do it NOW!
2️⃣ Important but Not Urgent – Schedule it.
3️⃣ Urgent but Not Important – Delegate it.
4️⃣ Neither Urgent nor Important – Delete it.

Sam had an epiphany: Fixing critical bugs? Urgent & Important. Attending another pointless meeting? Delegatable. Baking a cake? That’s a Quadrant 4 if ever there was one.
With the matrix in hand, Sam tamed the Overwhelm Monster, took control of time and even left work on time (gasp!).
The moral of the story? Use the Eisenhower Matrix and stop drowning in tasks.
